How are you living???

Headed home from camp after a great weekend. It wasn’t a scheduled weekend but we grabbed a few extra kids and had a great time. We went up Friday night and had a couple of kids have to reschedule, but overall it turned out good.

We saw about 35 deer and one kill on the last hunt. It was a busy day today cleaning deer, setting snares, and traps. Michael and Kristy did most of the messages with one done by Bro. Edwards. This weekend most of the messages were about how we live our lives.

And that is my question for each of you today… How are you living? Do you live a carefree life, minding your own business and worried about your own life? Or do you have cares for those around you? Minding the business of God’s plan for your life, and worried about the lives of those around you.

We all think keeping to yourself is a good thing, but living for Christ means looking to help those around you bear their burdens and help carry their load. With it being Christmas, I hope each of our hearts are set on helping those around us. And if we seem to be getting wrapped up in too much busyness, lets take the time to step back and remember what this season is all about. Remember, its not about us, its not about gifts, its not about staying busy doing all the things. This is the season to take a step back and spend some time with your Savior. Whether its in a deer stand or a bench at the mall, make sure to remember Christ and His purpose for your life this season. Be Thankful!
